SALES AND MARKETING COORDINATOR

THE POSITION

As a Sales and Marketing Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in bringing new clients (contractors, developers, consultants, and road authorities in road building construction industry) and revenue to the company, as well as managing the image of the company as it relates to marketing. To be more specific, some of the work that you’ll be performing includes (but is not limited to):

SALES

  • Generating leads ;
  • Issuing quotes;
  • Following up with prospect clients;
  • Closing sales;
  • Developing relationships with prospect and existing clients.

 

MARKETING

  • Management of the company’s social media platforms;
  • Creation and publishing engaging social media posts;
  • Creation and management of email marketing campaigns;
  • Creation and distribution of videos for internal and external purposes;
  • Creation and distribution of internal and external communication materials;
  • Interviewing staff, clients, and other industry stakeholders;
  • Take lead in promotion of existing and new products and services.

This is a full-time remote (home-based) position that may require travelling for training, selling, and obtaining marketing content.  The position is based in Langley, BC.

Torrent Traffic Inc. is an engineering firm that focuses on construction traffic engineering for the heavy civil construction (road builders) industry in Canada. It was established in 2017 and has since been creating working relationships with contractors, consultants and governing authorities throughout British Columbia, and Alberta.

  • Has a successful history in sales AND marketing and can show concrete, measurable results.
  • Is looking for growth, and therefore is hungry to learn and to do new things.
  • Has a proven track record of setting and achieving goals.
  • Is comfortable being held accountable to measurable targets.
  • Is organized, meets deadlines, and does not let excuses get in the way.
  • Excels in both verbal and written communication, bringing a positive, resilient attitude to challenges.
  • Takes pride in delivering outstanding results for every task or project.
  • Demonstrates a hunger for learning and a desire for personal and professional growth.
  • Brings energy and ambition to the table.
  • Is organized and efficient.
  • 2 – 5 years of experience.
  • Has (or is on track to obtain) a Diploma / Degree in Sales (or equivalent experience and education).

 

Technical Skills:

  • Understand sales processes, identifying and overcoming objections, follow ups, and closing.
  • Is proficient in creating engaging social media content.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills (in both sales and marketing communication).
  • Is attentive to details.
  • Has strong computer literacy.
  • Understands SEO.
  • Some graphic design skills (ie.: Photoshop) is a strong asset.
