CIVIL ENGINEER (TRAFFIC / TRANSPORTATION)

THE POSITION

As an Engineer with a P.Eng. accreditation in the province of British Columbia, you’ll play a vital role in providing technical expertise and leadership as it relates to safety, efficiency, and compliance in our projects, and the company. To be more specific, some of the responsibilities that you’ll be fulfilling includes (but is not limited to):

  • Preparation, design, and review of Traffic Management Plans;
  • Preparation, calculation, and review of Traffic Signal Timing Plans;
  • Preparation of Traffic Impact Assessment (not required but a strong asset);
  • Other Traffic / Transportation-related design;
  • Estimating;
  • Working with other Engineers, Technologists, and Technicians within the company;
  • Meet with Contractors, Developers, and Municipal / Ministry Representatives;
  • Reach out to potential and existing clients to follow up on proposals;
  • Customer service and project management.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about building a career in the Construction and Engineering industries and eager to bring fresh ideas to a growing team.

This is a full-time remote position. Applicants must reside and be able to legally work in Canada.

THE CANDIDATE

We are looking for an individual who embodies the following skills and attributes:

Attributes, Experience, and Education:

  • Is registered with EGBC as a P.Eng. and able to sign and seal in the province of BC. In addition the certification in British Columbia, having equivalent certification in other provinces in Canada is not required, but a strong asset.
  • Is a self-starter.
